Student information

Student data is encrypted and hosted in Canada. Activities can run without an internet connection. Usage data syncs over the school's Wi-Fi when available. Access, retention and deletion arrangements should be agreed with each school before rollout.

Device safety

Snowlark runs in focused learning mode. Other apps, device settings and web browsing are blocked. There are no ads. Only the tablet administrator can unlock the device with a password.

Privacy and accessibility

Our approach is designed with Canadian privacy obligations in mind, including PIPEDA and relevant British Columbia, Alberta and public-sector school-board requirements. We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA on the public website and welcome requests for alternate formats or reports of barriers. An independent security audit is being arranged; no certification is claimed.
